Appointment & Cancellations
It is your responsibility to remember your appointment. As a courtesy to other clients and therapist, appointments must be canceled 24 hours in advance; otherwise 50% of the service(s) booked will be charged. For no-shows, 100% of the service booked will be charged. If a credit card is not on file, we reserve the right to bill you for these services you reserved.

Arriving late limits the time for your treatment. Your treatment will end on time so that the next client will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.

Spa packages, services consisting of three plus hours of service time, or when two or more people from the same party schedule time we require a credit card deposit or gift certificate number to reserve the time. Credit cards or gift certificate will be debited at the above rate in the event of short-notice cancellation or no-show.

Thank you for understanding this is how we earn our living - reserving time for our clients. We understand that occasionally situations may arise preventing you from keeping your scheduled appointment. Please know last minute cancellations and no-shows (no matter the circumstance) prevent other clients from access to an appointment, leaving a gap in our schedule and it is a loss of income for us.

In the event your therapist should become ill the day of your appointment, we will make every effort to provide your service by moving your appointment to another therapist. If we are not successful, we will provide you with a gift certificate for 50% of the service you originally had booked. If you choose not to use the alternate therapist provided, no gift certificate will be issued.

Booking Appointments
Peak hours are late afternoons/evenings and weekends, so please book as far in advance as possible in order to ensure getting the particular time, day and therapist you want.

Therapists
We have both male and female therapist on staff. If you have a preference, do let your choice be known. If you have enjoyed the services of a particular therapist on a prior visit, you may request that person. Do realize that your first choice may not always be available.

Punctuality
Arrive on time or early. If you are late, your treatment time will need to be adjusted since the room and therapist is generally booked after your session. After a treatment, it’s customary to vacate the room within five or ten minutes. However, you are free to spend additional time unwinding in the spa lobby.

Arrival
If this is your first day spa visit, we will ask you to complete a new-client-questionnaire and possibly a client intake form for massage to provide us with medical and contact information.

Attire
Most people come to our spa in very casual attire – something you can easily slip off. During most treatments, you will wear very little clothing or you will be nude yet completely covered/draped. Other treatments such as hydrotherapy, you will be nude under appropriate draping or you may bring a swimsuit if nudity is a concern. Draping is always appropriate and you may freely speak with us about any concerns you may have. Please give your therapist feedback regarding your comfort.

Socializing
When in the spa, be mindful of others receiving treatments by keeping conversations at low volume.

Cell Phones & Pagers
With respect for all other clients attending the spa, please turn off your cell phone or pager while in the spa. Using cell phones during session slows the therapist and your service time will be adjusted in order to finish on time.

Observing Our Work
We cannot permit anyone to observe or be in the room with a friend or spouse while they receive services by our therapist. The exception to this policy is a parent with his/her child, age 15 and under.

Minors receiving services
We require parental consent to render services for minors age 17 and under. A parent/guardian must be present at all times with his/her child during services if he/she is under age 16.

Product Returns
If you need to return products for any reason, it must be done within 2 weeks of purchase for a 90% refund. After that time, we cannot accept any cosmetic or skin care product for return. A spa credit for services will be issued or allow up to two weeks for refund check. No refunds on repackaged or custom blends.

Gift Certificates & Discounted Prepaid Services
No refunds on gift certificates. Buyer may use gift certificate after redemption date if recipient has not done so. A $20 handling/service fee will be charged. Gift certificates may not be transferred.

A refund will be given on discounted prepaid services. The unused services will revert to the single price for each used service and balance is then refunded after a $25 administrative fee is deducted. A check will be mailed within two weeks.

Returned Checks
For returned check, we charge $25 (each time).

Gratuities & Payments
Gratuities are not expected, however, they are appreciated and at your discretion. When possible, please make it a private and separate transaction. Envelopes are provided for your convenience. It is customary to provide your therapist 15-20% if you were pleased with you were pleased with your service(s). We accept cash, personal check, MasterCard, Visa, & Discover as payment for spa transactions. We are also grateful for your loyalty and referrals.

Pregnancy
In many cases, we are able to provide services even during your pregnancy. If you have concerns, please consult with your health care provider to provide you with sound advice concerning the service in question. We have found that if you are concerned about a particular service, then it should not be performed.

Nudity Issues
It is never required that you are unclothed in front of anyone in our day spa. You will be left alone to change or to put on a robe. Our therapists are well trained in the “art of draping” which means that the area of the body they are working on is the only area exposed at that time. They also leave the treatment room before you get up from the treatment. Most people wear nothing during hydrotherapy treatments, appropriate draping is used, however, a swimsuit is appropriate if you prefer. Please give your therapist feedback regarding your comfort.

Medical Conditions
If you have any type of medical condition, be sure to mention it when you book appointment. Certain treatments may not be advisable for you.

Cancer Patients
Please be candid with us regarding your treatment protocol. We use seaweed in many of our facials and body treatments. Seaweed is very beneficial for helping to detoxify the radiation from your body. Please check with your doctor and provide us with written consent to provide any treatments involving seaweed. It is important that your doctor becomes involved in knowing about all your treatments here.
